About the role
- Mobius is seeking an Aviation Warfare Systems Engineer.
- In this role, the Aviation Warfare Systems Engineer serves within the PAE Maritime Carrier Engineering Team, reporting to the Aviation Systems Engineering Manager (SEM).
- This position requires an energetic candidate that can coordinate multiple tasks while operating in a high ops' tempo environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
- Experience with USN Aviation Warfare Systems aboard aircraft carriers or large deck amphibious ships
- Experience working with NAVAIR and NAVSEA.
- Experience working on CVN 78 and/or CVN 79.
- Must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Experience working with or at a shipyard, Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC), Supervisor of Shipbuilding Command (SUPSHIP), Regional Maintenance Center (RMC), and/or Type Commander (TYCOM) or similar organizations supporting construction, operation, maintenance, modernization, and/or repair of shipboard aviation warfare equipment.
- Good technical writing and communication skills.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree or former US Navy aviation LDO/CWO/CP
- Clearance
- Active DoD Secret security clearance is required.
