Responsibilities
- Design and build custom test setups or fixtures in support of engineering requirements.
- Support engineering change processes and participate in root cause analysis and failure investigations.
- Maintain and calibrate advanced lab equipment; oversee lab safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and manufacturing engineers to refine products or test methods.
- Suggest and implement improvements in test procedures and lab operations.
- Support failure analysis and root cause investigations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and manufacturing.
- Work on teams to design testing equipment to meet engineering or production testing requirements
- Performs preventative maintenance on production and lab test equipment.
- 2+ years of relevant lab technician or technical support experience.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in engineering technology, electronics, mechanical, or a related field (Bachelor's degree may be preferred for some employers).
- Strong understanding of lab instrumentation and engineering tools.
- Proficiency in using software tools for data entry, analysis (e.g., Excel, LabVIEW).
