About the role

  • Identify key risks and mitigants related to a lending opportunity and propose effective deal structures to effectively mitigate these risks.
  • Draft and negotiate term sheets for clients in coordination with Private Bankers and Private Wealth Financial Advisors.
  • Prepare and assist with the preparation of credit memoranda clearly outlining the proposed transaction, purpose, strengths, risks and mitigants, financial analysis and other key terms and conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the appropriate level of due diligence, including evaluating appropriate financial and non-financial information to properly assess a lending opportunity.
  • Efficiently manage active deal pipelines while balancing client expectations.
  • Meet with clients to develop and enhance client relationships and identify potential lending opportunities.
  • Meet with branch and complex teams to heighten product awareness and collaborate with the Private Bank's sales partners to identify opportunities.
  • Develop and mentor junior colleagues on the team.
  • The Lending Transactor will act as a product partner to Private Bankers and Private Wealth Financial Advisors to identify and efficiently deliver Ultra High Net Worth Lending solutions to Morgan Stanley's clients.

  • The Lending Transactor will collaborate across the Firm to provide lending solutions with a focus on alternative asset lending and other bespoke lending solutions.
  • In addition, the Lending Transactor will market and collaborate with the Private Bank's sales partners to deliver these products.
  • Position Summary The Lending Transactor will act as a product partner to Private Bankers and Private Wealth Financial Advisors to identify and efficiently deliver Ultra High Net Worth Lending solutions to Morgan Stanley's clients.

Compensation

  • Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $58,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
