About the role
- As an integral member of Allied Health, the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides assessment and treatment for adult patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
- The successful candidate will work in a progressive multi-professional team, participate in rounds, meetings and quality initiatives and assist with coverage across other clinical service areas as necessary.
- Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides swallowing and communication intervention to patients across Toronto Rehab.
Responsibilities
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (C Level) Heart Saver Plus Canada (on employment)
Requirements
- The candidate will perform all other duties as required.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or equivalent, required
- Registration with College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathology of Ontario (CASLPO) required
- Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience with adult neurogenic communication disorders required
- Minimum of two years clinical experience in neurorehabilitation
- Clinical experience with acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and /or experience working with patients with dementia an asset
Nice to have
- Ontario Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA) preferred
- Dysphagia experience (including videofluoroscopy assessment) preferred
- Computer proficiency preferred

- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
Compensation
- $43.47 - $54.34 per hour
- Salary Range:$43.47 - $54.34 per hour
