About the role
- You'll be a direct mentor to exceptional student athletes, helping them shape their athletic and leadership journeys.
- This role requires approximately 6-8 hours per week during the academic year, primarily during weekday evenings.
- It's the perfect opportunity for local experts, recent graduates, or passionate individuals seeking involvement outside of a standard 9-to-5.
Responsibilities
- Championing an inclusive team culture that supports the holistic growth (academic, athletic, and personal) of every student-athlete.
Requirements
- Proven experience playing and/or coaching your sport.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - you can clearly teach a technique and motivate a group.
- Familiarity with the rules, trends, and compliance requirements within your sport.
- Must be able to work weeknights/weekends as needed and possess a valid driver's license.
- Supporting the team at all practices and competitions (potential weeknight and weekend flexibility required).
- A commitment to diversity and inclusion and the ability to support an environment where all student-athletes feel valued.
- Hiring Range: $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
