About the role

  • Break down assembly drawings and specifications, and plan the successive steps of fabricating and assembling mechanical parts and units. - Assemble parts according to print, including fitment, alignment, and adjustment.

Requirements

  • Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures
  • DOT Physical Required.
  • Experience or exposure to lean concepts
  • Willing to work long hours, overtime, and weekends as required
  • Work in other areas of the plant as may be required.
  • Effective team player

Skills

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Skilled and experienced with operating hand, power, and pneumatic-operated tools common to the trade.
  • Blueprint reading capabilities, understanding of measurements and tolerances
  • Ability to obtain forklift (license)
  • Ability to learn how to properly handle overhead cranes safely

  • Assembly of structural and mechanical components safely and efficiently to produce a quality product that meets specifications
  • Layout and construct various product assemblies with minimal supervision according to blueprints or specifications, using the proper tools and equipment
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 6:00 am-4:30 pm
  • Salary: $22.06/hr. - $27.90/hr.

  • Assemble parts according to print, including fitment, alignment, and adjustment. Ensuring mechanisms are free from binding or interference and function properly, and diagnose and repair improper mechanical assembly or operation.
  • Maintain ISO-9001 standards
  • Safely perform all duties; support all safety and environmental rules and environmental initiatives.
  • Participate in Lean initiatives to provide ongoing continuous improvement ideas for products, process, and procedures
