About the role
- MongoDB is seeking a Strategic Finance Analyst to grow our Strategic Finance team.
- You will be responsible for the financial and analytical aspects of key business decisions, go-to-market strategies, resource allocation, partnership, and investment decisions.

Responsibilities
- Own company key revenue forecast models for new and existing products
- Support the investor relations function and corporate development initiatives, including any potential M&A
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build financial models to inform teams on operating strategies, investment recommendations, and new business opportunities
- Develop cross-functional partnerships with Leadership across the company to review investment opportunities, growth levers, and align on resourcing models
- Lead, collaborate, and contribute to business case development of new strategic initiatives
- Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
- Confidence to forge strong relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization
- Drive for results and a sense of urgency with the capacity to multitask and prioritize
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years experience in investment banking, management consulting, or an analytical role at a data-driven technology company
- Candidates must possess substantial experience with financial modeling and proficiency in Excel
Nice to have
- Experience with data acquisition tools (e.g., SQL) and large datasets is a plus
