About the role

  • The Advanced Material Handler is responsible for operating forklifts equipped with spreader attachments to move, load, and organize materials within a warehouse distribution center.

Responsibilities

  • Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations as needed
  • Maintain accuracy and productivity in a high-volume distribution environment
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety rules, and shipping documents

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with handheld scanners or inventory systems
  • Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and adapt to varying temperatures
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials and perform physical tasks as required

Nice to have

  • 1+ years of experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and/or production material movement preferred
  • Experience handling heavy materials (e.g., coils, dies, large equipment) strongly preferred
