About the role
- They will also draft various sketches, plans, and exhibits using CAD.
- Drafting grading, drainage, utility, street frontage improvements, and stormwater management plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D grading feature lines and utility pipe networks.
Responsibilities
- Carries out tasks assigned by the Project Lead and engineering team.
- We welcome the opportunity to partner with recruitment agencies when additional support is needed.
- The Engineering Technician will be in charge of independently producing engineering design plans for public works project and land development, utilizing AutoCAD software.
- They will be responsible for working with an engineering design team from initial concepts to final plan production.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or carry items ( up to 20 lbs.)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (field checks)

Nice to have
- 0-2 years of experience in a position requiring intensive AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- General knowledge of computers, Microsoft office, Adobe, Internet, etc.
- Experience with BlueBeam a plus.
