About the role

  • Oasis Ascent, a short-term residential treatment program for teenagers located in Provo, Utah, is seeking a Youth Mentor.
  • Assist with daily routines, ensuring that residents are following their treatment plans and meeting established goals.
  • Facilitate and participate in group and individual activities that align with residents' treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will work closely with adolescent residents to provide guidance, support, and mentorship as they navigate their way to recovery.
  • As a Youth Mentor, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with clinicians, case managers, and support staff to ensure that our clients receive the care and support they need.
  • Build rapport with adolescent residents and provide emotional support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of residents' progress, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with other members of the treatment team including clinicians, case managers, and support staff to ensure that residents receive comprehensive and effective care.

Requirements

  • Attend and participate in trainings and meetings as required.
  • Able to pass all required background checks and drug screenings.

Compensation

  • $11k-$45k
