- This role sits within the Legal department and reports to Haemonetics' Senior Corporation Counsel, Litigation and Employment.
- This role will evolve Haemonetics employee relations philosophy and practices, partnering closely with HR and leadership to ensure consistent, compliant, and values-aligned outcomes across complex employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement employee relations strategy in partnership with Legal and HR
- Build on frameworks and standards for managing performance concerns, conduct issues, investigations, and terminations
- Act as a trusted partner to HR Business Partners and leadership to resolve employee relations issues while balancing legal risk and business needs
- Provide guidance and coaching to HR business partners and management on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Draft investigation reports, disciplinary documentation, and other employee relations documents
- Support the development and delivery of employee relations training programs for managers and employees
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Quality teams as appropriate to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
- Support audits, regulatory inspections, and internal reviews as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5-8 years of experience in employee relations or HR, with significant investigation experience
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and sound judgment
- Experience partnering closely with Legal teams on employment matters
- Significant experience managing complex terminations and structured employee exit discussions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting detailed investigation reports
- Proven ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience supporting multi-state or global employee populations
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)

Compensation
- $103,600.00-$176,400.00/Annual
- The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate's location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles.
- Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics' employee compensation.
- For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms.
- For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms.
- Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.
