Responsibilities

  • Use metal shear and break tables to perform work.
  • Using computer programs to design structures.
  • Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, welding parameters, and inspection results.

  • Ace offers fabrication services, hard bid, design-build, negotiated contracts and fee-based work.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to develop and work as member of a team.

Requirements

  • Required Physical/Mental Functions:
  • Positively identify colors of wire and other items as required.
  • The Welder will follow engineering plans, drawing and instructions to weld materials into the required shapes using welding equipment.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Nice to have

  • 2 years' experience welding and experience with CNC plasma table and waterjet table preferred.
  • Works in a warehouse setting with varying degrees of stress and time pressure.
  • Works in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures and humidity.
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Able to work 40 hours per week plus overtime as required.
  • Travel may be required to job sites.
  • License: Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to see others succeed by mentoring and sharing knowledge with others.
  • Ability to focus on details while still maintaining a large picture perspective.
  • Ability to read and understand construction specifications and detailed drawings.
  • Ability to develop and follow construction schedules.
  • Proven experience as a welder, with expertise in various welding techniques and processes.
