Use metal shear and break tables to perform work.
Using computer programs to design structures.
Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, welding parameters, and inspection results.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to develop and work as member of a team.

Required Physical/Mental Functions:
Positively identify colors of wire and other items as required.
The Welder will follow engineering plans, drawing and instructions to weld materials into the required shapes using welding equipment.
Occasional travel may be required.

2 years' experience welding and experience with CNC plasma table and waterjet table preferred.
Works in a warehouse setting with varying degrees of stress and time pressure.
Works in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures and humidity.
Wear personal protective equipment as required.
Able to work 40 hours per week plus overtime as required.
Travel may be required to job sites.
License: Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company.

Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Good verbal communication skills.
Desire to see others succeed by mentoring and sharing knowledge with others.
Ability to focus on details while still maintaining a large picture perspective.
Ability to read and understand construction specifications and detailed drawings.
Ability to develop and follow construction schedules.
Proven experience as a welder, with expertise in various welding techniques and processes.
