About the role
- Responsible for supporting the development of revenue management strategies.
- Provide training on revenue management tools, strategy, and philosophy to cross-functional stakeholders, as necessary.
- This position is remote which means the work can be completed from anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced analysis of market dynamics, pricing trends, market opportunities, and margins in order to develop, monitor and respond to pricing activity.
- Provide analytical support for head of RevMan Strategy and Managers of Revenue Management Initiatives to inform development of special revenue management initiatives.
- Support roll-out of new initiatives by developing implementation plans and tracking compliance.
- Provide analytical support to head of RevMan Strategy and Manager of RevMan Process Improvement to inform process improvement strategies.
- Help with the design and development of business processes and translation into IT solutions.
- Create and maintain databases and files to support pricing, revenue management and overall strategy.
Requirements
- Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in a business or quantitative field required (Statistics, Finance, Econometrics, CS, Mathematics, OR, Engineering, etc.)
- Related Experience:
- 4 years of combined experience in the one or more of the following areas: Pricing & Revenue Management, Financial Analysis, Analytics (Sales, Marketing, Strategy, or Merchandising), Statistical Analysis & Modeling, Systems, Decision Science, Private Equity (PE), Venture Capital (VC), and Management Consulting.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in a business or quantitative field required (Statistics, Finance, Econometrics, CS, Mathematics, OR, Engineering, etc.)
- MBA or MS preferred.
Skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong business acumen and critical-thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to educate and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Be able to tell a story and play a consulting role
- Experience with advanced data management and analytics packages preferred e.g.
- SQL and/or Python
