About the role
- The Medical Assistant of Marshall Medical Clinics works with providers and staff to ensure effective medical care is delivered to all patients in a timely, dignified, and caring manner.
Responsibilities
- This position maintains the continuity of patient care in order to ensure the utmost patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience with injections, EKG's, medication administration and/or taking vital signs required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
- Basic computer/data entry and electronic medical record (EMR) experience required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, patient/family health education required.
Skills
- Accurate and clear clinical documentation in Electronic Medical Record.
- Excels in verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to reprioritize work demands as needed.
