About the role
- We are hiring a Chemical Engineering Intern to work on real, high-impact problems within the Operations team.
- You will contribute directly to commissioning a first-of-a-kind copper scrap recycling plant, working closely with engineers and domain experts.
Responsibilities
- Operate pilot plant to perform various process tests and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members including engineers and operators
- Engineer Out Requirements, then Automate - We simplify, optimize, and then automate for scale.
- Share Your Legos - We collaborate openly, share knowledge, and empower each other to build bigger, better solutions.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy
- Hands-on experience with processing equipment
- Ability to break down problems and execute independently
- Strong fundamentals in fundamental knowledge, data recording, organization and analysis, and equipment operation/maintenance
- Clear communication and willingness to learn
- Willingness to work both day & night shifts with operators and engineers
