Responsibilities
- Support Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and process standardization.
- Labor Planning & Productivity Analysis - Conduct time studies and work sampling to establish labor standards. Analyze labor productivity, utilization, and efficiency to support workforce planning and staffing models.
- Develop dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reports that support operational decision-making, forecasting, and capacity planning
- Warehouse Optimization & Project Support - Evaluate warehouse layouts, material flow, slotting strategies, and storage utilization to improve throughput and operational performance.
- Support cross-functional projects from planning through implementation while tracking milestones and measuring results.
- Build collaborative relationships to identify improvement opportunities and support sustainable operational excellence.
- May require flexibility to support multiple shifts and occasional weekends during projects or peak operations
- Analyze labor productivity, utilization, and efficiency to support workforce planning and staffing models.
- Warehouse Optimization & Project Support
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field required
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data-driven recommendations.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred
- Internship, co-op, or 0-2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, distribution, or related operations preferred.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and AutoCAD is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, labor standards, and time study methodologies is preferred.
