About the role
- The Dermot Company, a New York and Florida based real estate developer and operator, is seeking a full-time Leasing & Management Associate who will be directly responsible for managing the day-to-day property management and leasing functions across several in Manhattan (West Side). In this role, you will contribute to the continued growth and operational
- excellence of our luxury residential portfolio. This position plays an important part in advancing Dermot's commitment to delivering exceptional resident experiences, supporting property performance, and upholding our standards of integrity, collaboration, and innovation. This is a full time, in-person position, based in Manhattan (West Side) floating
Responsibilities
- Meet the needs of the residents in a timely and courteous manner while ensuring building standards, policies and procedures.
- Support the management team with resident relations, move in/out procedures, amenity upkeep and general office matters.
- Support the leasing team with renewals, tours, lease applications and social media efforts.
- Complete additional projects tasks as assigned About You and What You Offer Minimum of two (2) years of property management experience in a multifamily building environment.

- In this role, you will contribute to the continued growth and operational excellence of our luxury residential portfolio.
- Office hours sre 9-6pm, exact 5-day work week schedule TBD.
- The incumbent will sit, stand or walk around for long periods of time depending on the task and will use standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, software programs) as needed.
- Be the first responder for resident and prospect calls and inquiries.
- Assist with all weekly and monthly reporting as assigned.
- Some experience dealing with required laws and regulations regarding property management and multifamily and mix-use buildings in NY.
- Real estate license or willingness to obtain the real estate license within the time allotted.
- Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, communication and follow-through skills.

- This position requires regular interaction with others in person and other forms of communication tools.
Compensation
