About the role
- The RN Wound and Ostomy - Provides special educational opportunities for nurses, residents, patients, and families relating to wound and osotomy management and the restoration and/or maintenance of good skin integrity.
- Assists members of the health care team in evaluating patients care to make recommendations. - Assures quality outcome of patients/consumers through education and patient care.
- Evaluates staff and patient/families for knowledge deficits relating to ostomy, wound/skin care, and appropriate use of equipment and provides appropriate education.
Responsibilities

- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care in order to achieve optimum patient outcomes for patients of all ages as appropriate.
- Performs ongoing assessments of the patient's ostomy, wound and skin integrity.
- Maintains an effective communication link with staff, patient/family and the community.
Requirements
- Incumbents may be required to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
- Ability to travel.
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Compensation
- $76,689.60 - $115,044.80 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience.
- The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
