Responsibilities
- Oversees design programs and initiatives with a focus on brand compliance, quality, and adherence to company design standards and review processes.
- Provides technical design leadership to Sr Designers responsible for FF&E review, ensuring consistency in specification, documentation, and implementation.
- Promotes design excellence through oversight of interior submittal packages and formal review of proposed FF&E brand standard deviations, ensuring consistency with brand requirements.
- Supports Property Improvement Plan (PIP) execution by interpreting scope, reviewing submissions, and tracking compliance.
- Collaborates with internal teams, hotel owners, and external partners to resolve design and specification issues.
- Builds strong relationships with hotel owners, stakeholders, and leadership through clear communication and design guidance.
- 6+ years of professional experience in interior design or architecture with a strong emphasis on hospitality projects and FF&E specification.
Requirements
- Experience with hotel Property Improvement Plans (PIP).
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field - or equivalent experience.
- Required Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and board preparation.
Nice to have
- 1 + years experience in a people-management role, preferred.
