About the role
- The CIO is responsible for providing leadership and strategic vision for the use of integrated information technologies across the university enterprise, including academic affairs, research, finance and administration, and institutional research.
- The CIO is responsible for leading and managing the Office of Information Technology.
- The CIO will provide both medium and long-term strategic direction as well as oversight for the day-to-day responsibilities of the Office of Information Technology.

Requirements
- Senior-level experience in progressively responsible information technology.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, personnel, resource allocation, and budget/fiscal management.
- Architect of change - an ability to inspire an experienced team
- demonstrated ability to change organizational structure, policies, and procedures to effect change
- Personal attributes - proven change-agent with a sense of urgency
