Responsibilities
- Architecture Design: Define and maintain vehicle‑level electrical architecture, including network topologies (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and power distribution systems. Develop system‑ and component‑level requirements from truck‑level requirements.
- Integration & Validation: Lead electrical system "bring‑up" phases for prototype vehicles, troubleshooting issues and performing bench testing, including continuity, isolation, and grounding.
- Manufacturing Support: Draft 2D formboards and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure designs are cost‑effective and easy to install on the production line.
- Able to manage competing priorities while remaining organized and detail‑oriented
- Ability to create and interpret CAD drawings, schematics, and design layouts

- This role is critical to creating, modifying, and implementing designs that meet customer needs.
- You will collaborate across the organization to ensure the delivery of high‑quality forklift trucks.

Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD and PLM tools (NX, Teamcenter) with an understanding of electrical standards
- Familiarity with embedded systems, real‑time communication networks (e.g., CAN), and control architectures
- Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, including circuits, power electronics, motor controls, and battery systems
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Travel Required
Nice to have
- Utilize CAD software (Siemens NX preferred) to route harnesses through complex 3D environments, ensuring proper bend radii and clearance from heat sources and moving parts.
- Experience with Zuken E3 is preferred.
