About the role
- The HR Manager will play a key role in ensuring compliance with all applicable U.S. labor laws while driving continuous improvement in HR processes and employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage full‑cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, workforce plans, and effective hiring strategies aligned with business needs. Compliance & HR Operations
- Conduct internal audits, maintain accurate and compliant employee records, and administer HR policies and procedures.
- Monitor evolving HR compliance requirements and deliver timely updates and training to leadership and staff. Employee Relations & Performance
- Support employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management initiatives.
- Prepare monthly HR reports and support analytics‑driven decision‑making.
- Partner with leadership to enhance HR processes, employee engagement, and retention.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEOC, pay transparency, and others).
- Employee Relations & Performance
- Provide guidance to managers on coaching, documentation, and corrective action processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (SHRM‑CP or PHR preferred).
- 5-10 years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated expertise in recruitment and compliance.
- Strong understanding of full‑cycle recruiting best practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of multi‑state employment laws and regulations.

- HRIS platforms (e.g., PeopleSoft, BambooHR)
- Recruiting and ATS tools (e.g., BambooHR, LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Compensation benchmarking tools (e.g., Payscale, Korn Ferry)
- HR analytics tools for workforce insights (e.g., Tableau HR dashboards, Power BI)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with AI‑driven HR tools
