About the role

  • The Senior Inventory Control Analyst takes responsibility for the arranged receipt of raw and work-in-process materials along with all finished goods material flowing through the Site's Enrobing process.
  • In addition, the Inventory Control Analyst works hand-in-hand with the Production Manager, Supervisors, and the broader team as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Plant leadership team to develop and maintain an efficient material flow system throughout the facility
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Logistics teams to secure and optimize the shipping, receiving, and inventory control of frozen material
  • Maintain accurate inventory snap shots by conducting regular physical counts and reconciling variances and communicating these to the customer.
  • Attend and support weekly connection point with customer
  • Generate and maintain baseline metrics and reports such as: Raw material consumption and loss, packaging consumption and loss, throughput rates, downtime reports, customer facing reports and other reporting as directed.

Nice to have

  • Associates degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Analytics or closely related field (preferred).

Skills

  • Takes an analytical and proactive approach to problem identification and solving bottlenecks with an emphasis on process improvement
  • Must have developed listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to monitor/handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Word and Excel, ERP experience preferred
  • English & Spanish preferred
  • Associates degree - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Analytics or closely related field (preferred).
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish preferred
  • This position requires exceptional organizational and detail skills, a problem-solving approach, and a firm grasp of the production process.

Compensation

  • Bonus: This role may further qualify for supplemental compensation in the form of bonus and incentive programs, contingent upon achieving pre-established individual and company performance metrics.
