About the role

  • Northstrat is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both back-end and front-end development, bringing a wealth of knowledge in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
  • Flex Time Northstrat does not mandate specific working hours.

Responsibilities

  • We hire and scale rapidly to meet the needs of our partner customers.

Requirements

  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments.
  • Experience with Java microservice application and interface design and development.
  • Must have an active or current Top-Secret clearance with SCI access with a FS/Poly no exceptions
  • bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Although project requirements may dictate schedules, a Northstrat employee is only required to work an average of 8 hours per weekday over the course of a month.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with scalable and distributed message bus such as Apache Kafka
  • Experience applying DevOps best practices and leveraging tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Docker
  • Ability to work with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
  • Knowledge of in-memory storage solutions (Redis) as well as AWS S3-compliant object stores
  • Experience applying DevOps best practices in day-to-day software development

Compensation

  • There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

  • IBA Benefits accrue each month in the amount equivalent to 50% of the employee's monthly compensation rate.
  • That is, the effective dollar amount of this accrual is in addition to an employee's salary.
  • The PSP is a qualified retirement plan that Northstrat funds quarterly on the employee's behalf through the IBA in the amount equivalent to 25% (up to the IRS contribution limit) of the employee's compensation.
