About the role
- The Video Production Manager works to execute Marketing activities and provide leadership for A-LIGN's video production efforts.
- In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of all types of video content initiatives, owning the full production lifecycle from pre-production through post-production.
- This role plays a critical part in establishing and growing A-LIGN's in-house video capabilities while producing customer, thought leadership, employee, and event content across multiple digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Stand up and maintain in-office video setup; select, source, and maintain equipment (cameras, lighting, audio)
- Manage A-LIGN's existing podcasts and develop concepts for additional podcasts or video series
- Storyboard videos and own the creative direction from concept to final cut
- Produce LinkedIn and YouTube content; manage A-LIGN's YouTube channel
- Partner with the social team on video social strategy and with the content team on alignment to broader campaigns
- As the Video Production Manager, you will provide exceptional creative and production strategies to help support the continued growth of our fast-paced company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, Journalism, or other relevant fields
- At least 3 years of experience in video production with end-to-end ownership of projects from pre-production through final delivery
Skills
- Proficiency with professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment; comfortable selecting and maintaining gear
- Video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent)
- Strong visual storytelling and creative direction abilities, from storyboard to final cut
- Comfortable directing and conducting on-camera interviews with executives and thought leaders
- Detail-oriented with an exceptionally high bar for production quality
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to production quality and brand consistency
