About the role

  • This working director role balances day-to-day operational oversight with director-level responsibilities, including program planning, compliance management, quality assurance, budget monitoring, staff leadership, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • This role combines director-level leadership responsibilities with direct operational involvement and may step into operational duties as needed to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Oversee preparation for external audits, inspections, and certification renewals Oversee property condition standards across all residences, including maintenance coordination, vendor follow-up, inspections, and timely completion of corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • The mission of Partners Recovery Residences, LLC is to provide safe, dignified, and accountable recovery housing for individuals in recovery from substance use disorders, including those involved in the justice system.
  • Success in this role is measured by the Housing Director's ability to lead safe, compliant, financially sustainable, and high-performing housing operations while supporting positive resident outcomes.
  • This role also leads staffing, training, and continuous improvement efforts to support safe, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented living environments.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to occupancy, retention, resident outcomes, safety incidents, compliance, and financial performance.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, service providers, maintenance contractors, and other operational partners; monitor vendor performance and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
  • Develop and sustain a talent pipeline and succession strategy to ensure continuity of leadership and support program growth.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel between sites as needed
  • must have access to reliable transportation.
  • Must maintain required certifications and complete ongoing training in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Must be able to meet any role-related background study or screening requirements and maintain eligibility to work in programs regulated by Minnesota DHS.

Compensation

  • $110,000 - $130,000 based on experience and qualifications
