About the role

Requirements
- Enrolled in, or completion of, a Master of Nursing or Doctoral Nursing degree program
- Current unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license in WI or ability to become licensed as RN in WI.
- The RN license must be valid by August 1, 2026.
- Evidence of at least one year of clinical practice experience in nursing

- UWM School of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Nursing (MN), Master of Sustainable Peacebuilding (MSP), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP ) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree programs.
Nice to have
- Preferred 50% completion of Master of Nursing degree, or equivalent progression through a doctoral nursing program
- Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and/or PhD in a related field
- Evidence of at least two years of clinical practice experience in nursing, ideally within the last five years
- Clinical and/or theory teaching experience in a nursing program
- Certified Nurse Educator (CNE)
- Advanced practice registered nurse, nurse practitioner, or clinical nurse specialist
- Master of Nursing degree
- Expertise particularly in one or more of the following areas:
Compensation
- The target hiring range for this part time position is $54,000 - $56,500 on a 9-month basis at 100%.
- Salary will be prorated based on the appointment length and FTE.
- Final salary offer will be contingent upon degree and the knowledge, skills, and abilities demonstrated throughout the selection process.
