About the role

  • Licensure / Certification Minimum: Dietetic Registration Eligible.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide basic, intermediate, or comprehensive nutritional care for patients/clients at low, moderate, or high nutrition risk as identified by RN or physician referral.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and document nutrition care plans for patients at risk and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition intervention.
  • By finding common ground and embracing our differences, we grow stronger together and deliver more compassionate, person-centered care.
  • Able to perform duties within the guidelines of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics practice standards.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass RD examination within one year of date of hire.

Nice to have

  • Proof of Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Special Skill / Aptitudes Technical, human relations, conceptual and management skills and the ability to apply principles of dietetics and nutrition in a variety of formats.
  • Experience One-year full-time professional dietetics experience preferred.
