About the role
- The Project Manager is accountable for the full lifecycle delivery of large-scale mechanical construction projects-from preconstruction through closeout.
- Ensure scope alignment, constructability, and contract compliance
- Enforce company and client safety standards
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of project delivery (planning, execution, closeout)
- Oversee coordination with design teams and other trades
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Partner with accounting on billing and financial tracking
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical construction methods and systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
- Proficiency in project management tools (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)
- Ability to interpret construction documents across multiple disciplines
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing union labor environments
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
- Education and Experience
- 5-10+ years of experience managing large-scale mechanical construction projects
- Proven success delivering complex projects (healthcare, labs, higher ed, industrial, R&D)
- Experience with Lean Construction and/or Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) preferred
- Physical Requirements
- Physical activity not limited to climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, lifting <50 lbs.
