About the role
- As part of the talented Brunswick Boat Group, you will drive mechanical system design and integration for Brunswick's marine products, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver innovative, manufacturable solutions.
- Uses CAE tools to develop 3D models for components and layouts, with emphasis on complex mechanisms and systems-level engineering.

Responsibilities
- Lead internal and external engineering reviews to ensure that systems meet both internal and external expectations.
- Collaborate with suppliers on the development of new systems and components to enhance the quality and value of boat systems continually.
- Create engineering drawings for new designs and approve all prints for boat release.
- Support manufacturing and customer service in resolving issues.
- Ensure that new designs and components meet cost, performance, and functional requirements for new and enhanced boat programs.
- Validate designs to ensure they meet system specifications and performance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field
Skills
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; capable of mentoring and working cross-functionally.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and engineering software platforms.

Compensation
- In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
- $70,600- $101,800
- The hiring range for this position is $70,600- $101,800 annually.
