About the role
- This role ensures system reliability, security, and compliance while supporting user access management, troubleshooting, upgrades, and the integration of new systems.
- You will join an Engineering responsible for supporting systems that enable manufacturing and laboratory operations.
- Strong collaboration, responsiveness, and technical problem‑solving are key to success.
Responsibilities
- Manage user access for OT systems, including provisioning, updates, and periodic access reviews.
- Support security audits and ensure compliance with data integrity and access control requirements.
- Maintain and perform software and hardware upgrades to ensure system functionality, security, and compliance.
- Support deployment and integration of new systems and equipment into OT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with IT and Engineering Automation to align with industry standards such as ISA‑95.
- Document and track work activities in accordance with cGMP and data integrity practices.
- Support on‑call rotation for after‑hours operational needs.
- The OT Technician III plays a hands‑on role in maintaining connectivity between systems, resolving technical issues, and partnering with IT and Engineering Automation to support stable, compliant operations.

- Together with our team members across Europe, the U.S., and Japan, we deliver development and manufacturing of mammalian and microbial-based therapeutic proteins, plasmid DNA (pDNA), messenger RNA (mRNA), viral vectors, and genetically engineered cells therapies.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with equipment/system validation practices.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST).
- ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP) or similar certification.
Skills
- Experience troubleshooting industrial networking protocols (EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, MQTT, MODBUS, BACnet, Profibus, ControlNet, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Ethernet networking concepts including VLANs, routing, firewalls, and access controls.
- Familiarity with data systems and storage (SQL, JSON/XML, data historians, flat files).
- Experience with Active Directory/LDAP and authentication methods (SAML, OAuth2).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or laboratory systems.
- Experience with Windows operating systems (server and enterprise environments).
- Experience working with CMMS/EAM systems.
- Experience in biopharmaceutical or cGMP environments.
Compensation
- Range: $108,080 - $148,610
