About the role

  • We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our Adult PHP program delivering high-quality group and individual psychotherapy using evidence informed approaches for patients experiencing acute and complex behavioral health needs.
  • The ideal candidate has advanced expertise in Evidence Based Practices including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
  • Additionally, this candidate is collaborative, driven to continuously grow and refine programming, and innovate care delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains professional documentation which meets department and VUMC standards as it relates to compliance.
  • Maintains confidentiality and privilege in accordance with TN state codes and statutes
  • Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering results without requiring support and instruction from others.
  • Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering patient documentation services without requiring support and instruction from others.

Requirements

  • Shows leadership and initiative in situations where supervision is not present or required.
  • Displays knowledge of common risk identification methods such as objectives-based, scenario-based, taxonomy-based and common-risk checking.
