Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with 75-150 current and potential giver relationships within your assigned portfolio.
- Maintain the respect and support of IMB constituencies
- As the Major Gift Officer, you will partner with passionate individuals to inspire and guide them toward joyful, missional giving.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in building and maintaining relationships with major donors, with a proven track record of securing multiple gifts of six‑figures and above from individual donors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire givers and other stakeholders
- Experience with planned giving, including charitable trusts, estates, and other complex gift vehicles
- Demonstrated expertise, foundations, and other key stakeholders
- Proficiency in relational database software, such as Virtuous CRM or similar system
- The ideal candidate is a relational fundraiser with a proven ability to confidently invite transformational gifts.
- Maintain accurate records of constituent activity in the Ministry Advancement database and complete additional administrative responsibilities as required.

Compensation
- $98,512-$115,896 annually *
- Implement a moves-management plan aligned with an established gift-cycle for your portfolio, focusing on achieving a giver-centric strategy with goals for annual gift proposals, face-to-face visits, documented gift closures, and compliance with internal and ethics policies.
- Achieve annual goal approaching or exceeding $3 million per year
