About the role

  • At Carnegie Mellon University, our Temporary Employment Services (TES) acts as a trusted resource for departments across the campus, providing you with the chance to showcase your expertise in a collaborative and professional environment!

Responsibilities

  • Support package tracking and inventory processes using computer-based systems.
  • Maintain organized workspaces and ensure package storage areas remain orderly and accessible.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Housing and other campus partners as needed.
  • Perform additional package operations support duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn operational systems.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High school graduate or GED required
  • a combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
  • Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
  • Fitness for duty assessment and pre-employment medical exam
