About the role
- The Image Quality Tuning Engineer II contributes to the development and improvement of Gentex vision products by creating and executing tests and data collection to define changes for improving image quality for Gentex's various product lines.
Responsibilities
- Develop a practiced understanding of various image signal processing (ISP) pipelines and their supporting tools.
- Collaborate with various Software Development teams to implement changes for various ISP pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet the unique image quality needs of various product use cases.
- Contribute to the process of data collection, analysis, and evaluation of results, combining both objective and subjective feedback to drive image quality improvements.
- Create and execute automated and manual testing.
- Support customer feedback and tuning efforts on various programs.
- Communicating Effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey clear understanding, taking into account the unique needs of different audiences.
- Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience with image processing pipelines.
- Experience with debugging hardware and software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with signal processing and working with time-series data.
