About the role
- Thus, the PSR plays a key role in creating and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients; ensuring efficient and expedient patient flow, and implementing providers' follow-up instructions with the patients.
- Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
- Responsible for responding to patient telephone calls for changing appointments and rescheduling patient appointments when a provider is out.
Responsibilities
- The Patient Services Representative (PSR) performs all the administrative services relating to the checking in and checking out of patients and provides general support services for the unit as described herein.
- Provides backup for other support services functions as needed.
