Responsibilities
- Evaluates new patients, establishes goals, and develops appropriate treatment plans.
- Documents all evaluations, treatments, and other pertinent patient interactions daily.
- Maintains a satisfactory level of productivity and demonstrates willingness to adjust personal schedule in case of crisis or real clinic need.
- Orients, instructs, and directs work activities for assistants and support personnel.
Requirements
- Master's degree in relevant field required
- No previous experience required
- Valid State of Florida Physical Therapist license required
- Refer to department description for applicable certification requirements

- Electronic Medical Record and multiple related software programs and tools with strict adherence to HIPPA regulations.
- Completes comprehensive, timely, and accurate documentation that meets organizational, regulatory and institutional standards.
- Demonstrates punctuality, reliability, and accountability in daily responsibilities.
- Accepts feedback constructively and seeks guidance when needed.
- Aligns with organizational goals and directives
- Adheres to institutional policies, ethical standards, and patient confidentiality.
- Provide relevant education to the patient and/or family regarding the patient's condition and instruction for home activities.
- Use treatment tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Participate in quality and safety improvement activities as directed by the Department Director.
- Supervise and instruct physical therapy students according to professional guidelines.
- May volunteer in rotations for pro-bono clinic, overseeing and guiding DPT students
- Actively pursue professional growth through affiliation with professional physical therapy associates, workshop attendance and conferences.
