Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or a PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience designing mechanical systems for high-power electrical equipment or power distribution systems
- Strong understanding of thermal management, structural analysis, and mechanical integration principles
- Experience with product development processes and electronics packaging
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software and detailed drawing creation
- Experience supporting products from prototype through production release
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice to have
- Experience in hydrogen, renewable energy, battery, power conversion, or industrial automation industries
- Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulation tools
- Experience working closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards for power systems and industrial equipment
