Responsibilities

As an intern at JD.com, you'll work on meaningful, hands-on projects, learn from talented colleagues across our global network, and grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment designed for development.
You'll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early-career talent hands-on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth.
Over 3-6 months, you'll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates.

Hands on HR - Act as the primary HR support for 2-3 warehouses in one of our California sites, shadowing the HR lead as your mentor and support.
Support the handling of employee relations issues and conflict resolution by documenting investigations in partnership with leadership.

Nice to have

Graduated or currently enrolled in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Chinese Mandarin speaking is a plus (but not essential)
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
ability to learn new systems such as HRIS, ERP, and payroll/timekeeping systems.

Skills

Hands on HR
Review and reconcile employee timecards, ensuring accurate attendance tracking and related compliance matters.
