About the role

  • Seaport Entertainment Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Paralegal to join our New York office, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel & Assistant Corporate Secretary.
  • The ideal candidate will bring strong experience from an in-house legal department or law firm, with a focus on corporate governance, legal entity management, and SEC compliance.
  • Assist with SEC and other regulatory filings

Responsibilities

  • Manage legal entity records, organizational charts, and franchise tax payments in coordination with CSC
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across SEG on legal and business initiative s
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in a legal department (in-house or law firm)
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, legal entity management, and SEC compliance
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and commercial contract structures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Diligent board management software
  • Experience with Broadridge, Computershare, and DTCC preferred
  • Support administrative insurance claims management (preferred, not required ), coordinating with claims representatives and tracking matters to resolution

Skills

  • Excellent communication, drafting, and organizational skills

Compensation

  • range: $105,000 - $1 50,000 per year
