About the role
- This is an hourly production position at the Thorlabs Ultrafast Optoelectronics (UFO) division in Ann Arbor, MI.
- The primary responsibility is to assemble and test opto-electronic instruments that contain precision optical, mechanical, and electronic components.
- Assemble and test optical, electrical, and mechanical components of varying sizes including micro-assembly and wirebonding.
Requirements
- Must be able to understand written assembly, drawings, and test instructions for a wide range of products to properly assemble products to the highest of quality standards and with minimal scrap or rework.
- While performing the duties, the employee is regularly required to operate precision machines.
- 2 years experience Soldering electronic parts on PCBs required fine pitch surface mount parts (SMT)
