About the role

  • Healthcare is one of the largest addressable markets in AI, and the front desk is where all the pain lives.
  • Every specialty clinic in the country is drowning in call volume, hold times, and staffing shortages.
  • They know they need a solution - most just haven't found the right one yet.

Responsibilities

  • Build the Go-to-Market Playbook: Define ICP, build target lists, develop outbound sequences, create sales collateral, and establish the repeatable motions that will eventually scale into a sales org.
  • Own Revenue Forecasting & CRM: Build and maintain the pipeline in a CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce), deliver accurate forecasts, and report on key metrics - pipeline velocity, conversion rates, ACV, CAC, LTV.
  • Be the Voice of the Market: Feed product and engineering with real buyer objections, feature requests, competitive intel, and market trends. You're not just selling - you're shaping what we build.
  • The Builder: You've been early at a startup before - or you've desperately wanted to be. You don't need a sales enablement team, a marketing funnel, or a playbook handed to you. You create those things.
  • Taxo builds AI agents that automate the front desk of specialty clinics - handling patient intake, scheduling, insurance, prescription refills, and triage with human-level nuance.
  • Now we need someone to own the entire revenue engine.
  • This is not a "carry a quota and wait for marketing to send you leads" role.
  • That means you build the playbook, you run the playbook, and you rewrite it when the market tells you to.
  • Build the revenue engine and own a piece of what it becomes.
  • Build the Sales Brand: Represent Taxo at industry conferences, webinars, and events.

Requirements

  • You know how to find deals, not just work inbound.
  • The Closer: Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota, with experience closing $50k-$200k+ ACV deals.
  • You've navigated complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and you know how to get a contract across the line.
  • The Storyteller: You can translate a technical AI product into a compelling narrative for a non-technical buyer.
  • No BDR team to hand off to - you are the team.

Nice to have

  • ๐Ÿ’ฐ Uncapped Commission - 10-15% of first-year ACV on every deal you close.
  • No ceiling on what you can earn.
  • ๐Ÿฅ A Product That Sells Itself (Almost) - Every clinic has this problem.
  • Hold times are 30+ minutes.
  • Staffing costs are exploding.
  • The ROI story writes itself.
  • ๐ŸŒ Global From Day One - US, UK, and KSA operations.
  • Experience selling AI/automation products.

Compensation

  • $50k-$200k

Benefits

  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 2 years selling into healthcare (providers, health systems, or health tech).
  • ๐ŸŽฏ Founding-Level Equity - 0.25-1%.
  • ๐Ÿ’ป Competitive Base + Benefits - Including health coverage, unlimited PTO, and the flexibility to do your best work.
  • Three markets, three healthcare systems, one massive opportunity.
  • Run Discovery & Demos: Get on calls with clinic administrators, practice managers, and healthcare executives.
  • Manage Strategic Partnerships: Identify and develop partnerships with EHR vendors, healthcare IT consultancies, RCM companies, and industry groups that can accelerate distribution.
  • Create thought leadership content that positions Taxo as the category leader in healthcare front-desk AI.
  • "Leading healthcare into the agentic era."
  • We've already secured major agreements with healthcare conglomerates across the US, UK, and KSA.
  • Negotiate & Close Enterprise Deals: Structure contracts, navigate procurement, handle security/compliance reviews, and close multi-location agreements with healthcare groups and DSOs.
