About the role

  • always-on AI employees, used daily by hundreds of engineers at the world's largest companies during their highest-pressure moments.
  • how the agent behaves, what it does, how it communicates, when it should act, and the user interfaces / product experiences built around it.
  • On-call engineers and SREs use the Traversal agent to troubleshoot production incidents, work through alert channels, and answer the everyday questions that come with keeping systems running, and adoption and usage have grown explosively.

Responsibilities

  • Build the product layer on top of the core AI agents our research and engineering teams build, thinking holistically across the web app and headless surfaces (Slack, Microsoft Teams, MCP, and API, where the user is often another agent).
  • Own the features that make the product enterprise-ready, like fine-grained access control and RBAC
  • We have a collaborative, hard-working culture and are energized by building the future of AI-powered software maintenance.

Requirements

  • ~5+ years of combined work experience across product management, engineering, or similar role, including at least 2 years as a PM

Nice to have

  • Side projects you've built with AI
  • 1-2+ years in a software engineering or SRE role
  • Experience helping a company go from less structured to more structured
  • Early PM at a high-growth startup
  • Experience with data-heavy or enterprise SaaS products
  • Exposure to observability tooling, SRE workflows, or on-call environments
  • Individual compensation is determined by experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.

Compensation

  • We offer competitive compensation, startup equity, health insurance, and additional benefits.
  • The U.S. base salary range for this full-time, in-person role in New York is $200,000-$300,000, plus equity and benefits.
  • Our salary ranges are based on location, level, and role.
  • Individual compensation is determined by experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
