About the role
- This role serves as a technical leader supporting cloud adoption, modernization, and operational excellence across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines and workflows using Azure DevOps, ARM templates/Bicep, PowerShell, or similar tools.
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity management, network security, and compliance controls.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployment, integration, and lifecycle management.
- Maintain documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Access to resources, training, and mentorship to support your professional growth.
- Support hybrid cloud integrations and connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
Requirements
- Required for This Opportunity
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related roles.
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
- This role requires deep expertise in Azure architecture, networking, automation, and security, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges in a Top Secret environment.
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and integration with on-premises systems.
Nice to have
- Microsoft certifications such as:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Azure Administrator Associate
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
- Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture principles and identity-driven security models.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Compensation
- At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.The targeted base salary range for this role is $121,000-$182,000 per year.
