About the role
- The Training Specialist coordinates and facilitates training programs that strengthen workforce development and improve overall performance.
- Weekly responsibilities include supporting training delivery preparation, participating in workstream meetings, and refining materials based on evolving needs.
- Each month, this role assists with rollout readiness, gathers feedback, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions and create training deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate training into onboarding processes and career development pathways.
- Support trainers and team leaders as training expert, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, or relevant equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ERPs and AI tools is a plus.

- Strong communication, attention to detail, customer service, time management, prioritization, creativity, and decision-making skills.

Compensation
- The expected annual base salary range for this role is $55,000-$65,000.

- Support the full training lifecycle using the ADDIE model to develop and implement effective learning programs aligned with company policies, safety standards, and best practices.
- Build and maintain structured learning plans in the Learning Management System (LMS) based on job roles, functional requirements, and organizational needs.
- Conduct training needs assessments and gap analyses to identify skill gaps and align learning initiatives with business and operational goals.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, or relevant equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Systems: Experience using Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams), screen capture/recording tools (Snagit, Camtasia, or equivalent), learning development, and production technologies.
