About the role
- Author detailed ATP/DVT procedures for modem subsystems and systems, including pre‑ and post‑check activities, regression testing, and troubleshooting steps.
- Configure and operate RF/IF test equipment including signal generators, noise sources, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, and multimeters to test IF at ~700 MHz and RF paths.
- Configure and test Ethernet‑based interfaces, including switch configuration, VLANs, media taps, and UDP/TCP data flows between modems, servers, and networked devices.

- L3Harris Corporation is seeking a Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer to support RF and modem test operations for a portfolio of Communication Systems programs in Brevard County, Florida.
- This role focuses on RF/IF testing (around 700 MHz IF), development and execution of formal test procedures, and support to Design Verification Test (DVT), Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), and post‑check activities for modem-based systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Experience with cable design, integration, and test (RF, IF, Ethernet, and control cabling).
Nice to have
- Active US Secret security clearance Preferred Additional
- Active US Secret security clearance Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with secure modem systems and/or COMSEC ‑ related hardware and configurations.
Skills
- Experience with secure modem systems and/or COMSEC ‑ related hardware and configurations.
- Prior SATCOM experience.
- Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking / requirements / test management tools.
- Experience with Wireshark to capture, inspect, and troubleshoot network traffic and system ‑ level connectivity issues.
