Responsibilities
- Interface directly with the technical project manager and cross-disciplinary project teams to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Use client and AECOM-prescribed tools to track and manage the financial aspects of projects (forecasting, invoicing, cost control, earned value).
- Lead internal coordination and external client communications, including progress reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders; ability to support client development in the New Mexico market.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in site investigation and remediation.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Track record of successfully managing environmental projects for various client types (public and private).
- Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders
Nice to have
- Strong New Mexico regulatory experience is preferred (e.g., NMED programs and regional Southwest regulatory frameworks), with familiarity in permitting, compliance, and agency interfaces.
- Professional certification preferred (e.g., PE/PG, Chartered Engineer/Geologist, PMP).
