  • The Project Management role is in charge of leading, maintaining, and overseeing all aspects of a construction project from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Tracks and controls project costs and schedules with Project Managers (PMs): Reviews project performance regularly, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to maintain budget and schedule integrity.
  • Screens, selects, and coordinates subcontractors and suppliers: Manages vendor relationships from bid through closeout, ensuring alignment with contractual terms, performance standards, and delivery expectations.
  • Manages internal resources to deliver project requirements: Allocates and oversees internal team efforts across engineering, procurement, and project management to ensure project milestones, deliverables, and client expectations are met.
  • Proactively identifies resource constraints and adjusts priorities to maintain momentum and accountability.
  • Leads both internal and external communication to ensure projects are successful: Serves as the central point of contact for all project communications, ensuring alignment across internal departments, clients, and vendors.
  • Facilitates effective meetings, drives resolution of open items, and maintains clear, timely, and professional correspondence throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • The candidate for this job must possess a four-year college degree
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • or three to five years of related experience and/or training
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous construction project management experience.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors and employees at all levels of the organization.

Nice to have

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Preconstruction/estimating experience is a plus.
  • Physical demands
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively through speaking and listening.
  • The role typically involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift or move objects up to 15 pounds.
