About the role
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (CPA) to join our team in Florida.
- This New role is focused on core accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- The position reports directly to the CFO and works closely with the Finance Lead on cross-functional initiatives.
- Support external audits and coordinate with auditors Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements (Federal and State) Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes Collaborate with the Finance Lead to support reporting and business needs (non-finance ownership role)
Compensation
- $85,000 - $95,000
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP Lead the month-end and year-end close processes Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger Prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial records Record, categorize, and reconcile company expenses and credit card transactions.
