About the role
- Every employee at MAP Automotive is absolutely critical to its success.
- Summary: Serves as a front-line cashier representative for the parts and service departments.
- Assists with making sure phone calls are handled in a prompt, polite and professional manner from beginning to end.
Responsibilities
- Receive customer payments, generate receipts, and perform cashier closeout
- Deliver excellent customer service at the register
- Manage, maintain, and secure the sales drawer.
- Maintain a professional appearance and neat/organized work area.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate articulately and friendly.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to use a variety of office and computer data programs, and willingness to learn new programs if needed.
- Ability to multi-task, and efficiently completely daily tasks.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be detail oriented through all daily processes.
- Complete daily reports as required.
Nice to have
- Automotive and or previous cashiering/accounting related experience preferred, but not required.
